    It is true I suppose, but only because men ruled the world back then. Women were considered property and were rarely educated to the extent men were. They were expected to stay home and raise children for the most part.
    That doesn't mean it was fair, but that is the way it was.

    You left out Emmy Noether, her eponymous theorem, that a symmetry implies a conserved charge, is to all intents and purposes the fundamental theorem of physics.
