A new treatment involving the patient inhaling interferon beta via a nebuliser that provokes a strong immune response in the lungs. This can prevent them from developing more serious symptoms after being infected. It's still in trials but sounds promising.
I think its only a matter of time before a really effective treatment is discovered. I just hope its sooner rather than later.
I believe this medicine, ivermectin, is a serious option for the underpriviledged.
Its widely available, and not so expensive.
FDA has approved it for humans, but I suppose its dose should be carefully measured.

@pawnpaw They mentioned a dose level of 5 micro M. Any idea what that is? Micro Mole? I don't see how to convert that to microliters or cubic millimeters or picometers, whatever?.
