Do we understand all other possibilities from lack of information at this time? Do we know much about the mysteries of function, the machine. At this point I feel we’re way too tiny to even guess but you have to start somewhere.
The assertion that the universe is expanding faster than the speed of light is an extraordinary claim that deserves extraordinary evidence. We have all been told that nothing can travel faster than the speed of light and now we are told the universe's expansion can.
Where is the evidence?
Here is something I noticed from the link below:
"The cosmic microwave background (CMB, CMBR) is microwave radiation that fills all space."
All space? If we cannot see all space how can that possibly be a provable statement? And if the CMB is not at the center of the universe how can anyone possibly be sure it is the remnant of the big bang?
I have a problem with people stating that they know the big bang happened as if it is a fact. They point to the CMB as if that is evidence, but is it? People cannot even agree that the big bang started out as a singularity or not. If there was no singularity there is no center of the universe. If there is no known center of the universe how can anybody know how fast the universe is expanding? If nobody knows how fast the universe is expanding everywhere in the universe how can anybody know how old the universe is?
If someone could prove there is a center to the universe that would be a good starting point to determining if expansion is uniform or uneven throughout the universe, but if there is a limit to how far we can see the universe how can anybody conclude that?
Astrophysicists need to stop stating theories as facts. It is annoying. They don't really know. It would be nice if they could admit it.
