Tried first 5, stumped on 3 for now!

1. 888 + 88 + 8 + 8 + 8

2. This is rugby union? Surely 10 - 10 (2 x tries vs 1 x try, 1 x conversion, 1 x drop goal or penalty)

4. The 100th is 199, so we have 50 'pairs' each adding to 200. 50 x 200 = 10 000

5. Each game eliminates 1 team, as 1 team isn't eliminated, must be X-1

10. 0 instead of O in FOUR.

6/7. Kids are 334 or 236 or 229 or 149 or 166 or 1,3,12 .
House number must be 10 or 11 or 13 or 14 or 13 or 16.
House number must be 13.
Kids are 229 or 166. Since one is older than the other two, kids must be 2,2,9.

No idea about 8 or 9.

8. Depends what you call" the first".Are we talking positive intergers?Alternately, the only numerical "digits " are the numbers zero to nine which every other number is made up from

The rest are equally common amongst the ones, tens, and hundreds places. However, 1 is the only number that gets a turn in the thousands place, so it is the most common.
