Which kind of games equipment is divided into 32 parts, each either black or white?

There are at least two answers, one obvious on this site, one less obvious.

Shogi is also known as Japanese chess and has the same number of pieces as chess.
Also the game GO has black and white counters but I don't know offhand how many.

The chess (and similar) board is in 64 parts, not 32. So's a reversi set. Shogi and other Eastern variants aren't black and white.
The one I came across recently is much more surprising than any of those. I'll give a hint: black and white are not evenly distributed in that one.

Ah, no, that's what I meant.

The chess pieces are the obvious one.
The chess board is not correct, nor are the other boards.

There's another, very famous piece of sports equipment which fits the bill.

Yes! To be precise, the famous Telstar design. 20 white hexagons and 12 black pentagons, making one truncated dodecahedron.
