I binge watched the whole series on Monday. It was wonderful! Followed the book with only a few minor deviations. The actors were excellent. I'm prejudiced, since it's my all time favorite novel. I'll be watching this many times. 🙂

Some of the language/content makes it 18+/TV-MA but looks good so far.

I got a chuckle about an alcoholic and drug using female being the best player 😄

I was a bit disappointed in how it turned out and I won't be watching to completion. I cannot recommend the series to friends/family, perhaps a good reminder of why I don't like Netflix creating a generation of binge-watchers.

Please pardon my nitpicking, but Bobby Fischer skipped school a lot, and he was a rather strong player. Green pills?--well, it's just a fictional story.

7 episodes that I know of, and yes, it has run its course. It's sad that Walter Tevis didn't live to see his book come to life. I think he would have liked it.
