Interesting game you had with Edward Kopiecki, just proves those over 2000 make mistakes like the rest of us (though not as many)

Back in my OTB days, I.M. John Donaldson gave a short lecture at our local chess club with this key piece of advise: "Always play against the position on the board in front of you, and NOT the person moving the pieces" In other words, ignore the rating and focus on winning!

@mchill Yes, that's a good quotation, and it's accurate! A little harder to put into practice, but it's a good thing to keep in mind.
