Some pics of my day trip down to London to see Game 5
of the 2018 Carlsen - Caruana World Championship Match

Analysis of game 5 with the gambit I predicted.
Then a couple of games with this gambit idea.

A very brief review of a book I bought from 44 Baker Street
leading us to some RHP missed wins ending in Stalemate.

I met GM Bisguier at the US Amateur Team Championship (East) back in the mid 1990's. He played on a team with three other older guys, and they called themselves "Art's Aging Chess Nuts" or something like that. It was the same year Karpov played in the USATE on GM Ron Henley's team, if I remember correctly.
My team ("Moose and Squirrel", from Boris's "We're talking big trouble for squirrel" line from Rocky and Bullwinkle) played Art's team, but unfortunately I was board 2 that year and did not get to play him. I did ask him if he was going to write a book, and his answer was "We're working on it!"

He was a nice guy, and a pillar of the 20th Century US Chess community.
