    Hi,

This is in reference to game ID: 11988601. My screen says that my opponent has 1 day and 3 hours of time bank remaining (2/10/2017). I believe he has ran out of time bank, my last move was on 2/7/2017, 2 days outside the allotted remaining time period.

    Am I missing something?

This is what the game says:-
Black has 1 hour and 56 minutes to move.
    (plus timebank)

White has 7 days of timebank remaining.

Black has 1 day 3 hours and 35 minutes of timebank remaining.

From 3 days per move. 7 days timebank.
Every time a player moves he get's back the full timeout that is minutes to move allocation in this game 3 days.so if he moves with 1 second of timeout remaining his timeout period becomes 3 days againTime bank only starts counting down when there is no timeout left. You can never recover timebank in a game

Thanks for the explanation Dave. The next mystery to solve is why would a player continue to struggle on an obviously completely lost position.

In the hope of a blunder by an overconfident opponent, such as a stalemate?
