Resignation

This q has probably been answered prior but I see no recent posts.

If I resign prior to losing, will my rating drop be the same as if I lost?

And if I win from a resignation, does my rating increase less than an outright W?

resignation = lose.

Rating changes are exactly the same.

Winning by claiming a Timeout is as good as a checkmate and resignation too of course......
