recurring subscriptions

does the word 'recurring' for subscriptions mean that the site automatically takes money from PayPal account when due or do I get a notification to renew or not

For an offical answer, use 'send feedback' at the bottom of any page. I've been here 10 years and can't remember if you get a notice or not. 😳

My subscription comes out automatically every year without any notification that it's due.

We should be able to opt-in for auto renewal v. opt-out. While opting out is doable, it's a hassle and unnecessarily time consuming. 🙁
