Well let's analyze the joke then, shall we?

The inmate of the asylum is 'nuts', they escape, they 'bolt' and then....They commit an assault, they 'screw'? What has this to do with slang terms for prison warders? If you don't have the wit to enter discussions, may I suggest that you don't enter them.

Nothing to do with prison wardons, it is the guards who are called screws....LOL...I just don't think you're going to get this one.

We were hooked on Prisoner Cell Block H for years till it disappeared mostly in the US, still around though, Aussie show.
