Why are some of the threads closed?
@ghost-of-a-duke saidBefore we close this cupboard shelf,
Everything has a shelf life.
Even Marmite.
@ogb saidBecause some of them just aren't worth keeping open. Sometimes the Moderator figures that the thread has become too aggressive and puts an end to it. Threads only have a certain life span and if no one says anything in it they close it probably on an auto after so many days of being inactive.

@kewpie saidI wasn't sure on the length of time, thanks.
60 days of inactivity.
