You should be happy and thankful to have something to eat, many in the world don't know when their next meal is coming.

What's the connection between roast beef and COVID ???

When the in-laws cook for us here in NZ (they are British) it is always
a roast with Yorkshire pudding regardless of the season. At home we
just treat Sunday as any other day and have whatever is easiest.

But you've just made me fancy corned beef!

Isn't anyone grateful they have something to eat? Lots of people don't know where their next meal is coming from in this world!

Sliced (out of a tin mind you) Spam. Pan fried, on a butty, touch of brown sauce. All day, all told about £3🚬

My sister makes a mean corned beef pie 😋

I had a very colourful lunch of tinned sardines, salad, beetroot coleslaw, kimchi, sweetcorn and a savoury brown rice.

I had ham and egg salad.

“Onion pie”, is that a thing where you come from?

Edit, ok I misread it: “corned beef and onion pie”, rather than corned beef plus onion pie.

    Doh!

    Corned beef is just awful.

Wondered myself thought why he couldn’t get a Sunday lunch at the moment, supermarkets are open, pubs and restaurants are also now open. Plenty of cows still, just saw an entire field of them from the train. Mystery indeed.

Try making spicy corn beef hash. It's a game changer. Just do it in a fried left overs way like bubble and squeak with corned beef in and use a lot of spice when you fry it up. Serve with baked beans and a cold beer.
