I did not. May do so at some point but my Chess moves come first for my Clan then playing in the forums. I may watch it at some point, is it really worth watching?

Watched that as a child in the 70's (German verison of Course) and even though it showed ist age even then I found it very entertaining.

This is probably going to be a very short thread when you stop and think about the title. It should probably be titled “things we didn’t know existed but now we do”, but that’s a bit long and not nearly as interesting somehow. Which begs a further question, how can something we don’t know exists be more interesting than something we do know exists even though it w ...[text shortened]... d by its very existence becoming known to me.

Still another hour before the Football is on TV...

Well there are things we know and are fascinated about. Examples have been mentioned in the thread.
Then there is the feeling of surprise when we see something which we learn to know for the first time. So a few years back there was a certain hype about freschl baken pieces which contained ice-cream i the middle. I didn't know it existed and was mystified how that could even work.
