    He remembered that she was partial to a certian perfume, which he smelled on the pillow. It seemed recent so with his extraordinary sense of smell, like a bloodhound on the trail of an escaped convict, he set out to find her, sniffing the air as he moved through the streets.

    as he swiftly followed her trail he was gently humming an old Waren Zevon song Werewolves of London so apt he thought what with them ladies ripped to bits like some rabid animal had mauled them then it hit him could the barmaid be more than she seemed he looked up watching the clouds drift by and eventualy allowing Stees to see what he had already guessed a full moon,was a bad moon on the rise

    As it turned out the moon he saw was that of a man bending over to pick up some change someone had dropped on the sidewalk ahead. Even so he still thought it an omen and slowed his pace somewhat in order to be on the guard should something else surprise him and sure enough...

    Stees knew he still thought he was in Canada cos in the UK we call it the Pavement and he sure realised sidewalk was a poopy or plopyism for real English so I believe Stees realised he needed to get back to a country that could spell English and punctuation truly so he moved to Germany ...

    ...arriving there he found that the reports about "golden" pavements had been widely exaggerated. Since he knows his Oscar Wilde he remembrede: "Intelligence is an exaggeration in itself and destroys the harmony of any face". He sat down pondering what this means in regard to exaggerating rumours...
