Queen Elizabeth ll platinum jubilee

70 years as Queen.

Although still two years away plans are already in underway for a national 4 day weekend with all the associated festivities on 2nd - 5th June 2022.

Assuming nothing untoward happens to Her Majesty between now and then, she will be the first British Monarch to reach the milestone.

Should be a fun 4 days.

On the contrary, the U.K. without a monarch is unthinkable - I'm not into royals that proffer from the tax payer by doing very little. When Brenda kicks the bucket, that will be a sad day.

Apart from Andrew (whos in the poo (young females/Maxwell) & Charlie boy, say no more I'm alright but I think personally there will be changes if the Tories aren't in.
