If you were wondering why Luck has not made his moves against you, he passed on the morning of Friday, February 15, 2019. Since he has visited me in Round Rock, TX a couple of times, he and I were friends. Since the skull showed up in my games with him, I sent him a message via RedHotPawn. There was no answer. A couple of RHP friends send me a message to see what is going with Luck because skulls were showing in their games. So, I texted him on his phone to see if he was alright. Right away, his daughter answered the telephone and said that her father passed away Friday morning.
Friends, Luck was a good player with a good heart. He was an avid chess player!

I didn’t know Luck but I enjoyed many of his posts and I was aware that he had been unwell in the past. I’m sure he will be missed here and I too send my condolences to those who knew him better than I.

May Luck rest in peace.
I was very sorry to hear of his passing. I did not know him well, although we played 92 games over the years and win or lose he was always a Gentleman and showed good sportsmanship. He will be missed for sure!
Ooh.. what a shocking news! Luck was a good chessfriend. We played 58 games here on RHP and chatted very often. I know that it was very very hard for him when his wife passed away some months a go - but he had a great character and he was a fighter. He made his last move here on RHP one day before he passed away. I will miss him.
Good luck, old Luck!
