Unquestionably, one of film's best leading men of all time.
Besides "Spartacus", my favorites include "The Devil's Disciple", "Seven Days in May" and "Paths of Glory".

That was back in 1958 were you born yet? 😉 Agree it was a great film but didn't watch it until years later. 😉 He produced that one also.

Yes that was a great yarn, spoiled somewhat by the miscast
pretty-boy Curtis against the gnarly Borgnine & Douglas.

Wasn't he also in Spartacus?

His grandson was in federal prison for drugs. 😉 Might still be there. I also heard he was a rat. It's amazing how far the apple can fall from the tree eh?
