It's been a while since I last saw you (OK a picture) but it seemed to me then that you had room for a few kg.

I was built like a greyhound up to age 40, and then rose quickly from 180 to 225 lb, which weight has turned into a stable plateau, it seems.

In that pic I think I was around 65-68kg, now I'm 77kg. Most would still say think but I can see/feel the extra weight.

That was a dramatic weight loss at the start of 2011. Were you feeling poorly?

Active swimming Olympic Lane lengths, Volley Ball and Ping Pong Doubles all summer long. Getting out of bed the morning of December 10, 2010, I literally crumpled to the floor instantly paralyzed hip to knee without impact injury, stroke or seizure. A dozen internists and specialists were unable to diagnose the cause. Near death in February, 2011; a gradual miracle began to occur by late March. Then for the next twelve months demanding physical therapy daily enabled weight, strength and mobility to improve incrementally until discharge from a State of the Art Rehab Facility early April, 2012.

Thanks, Paul; however, the success story was mostly written by Theresa, Amy and Courtenay who kept on pushing me harder than my incapacitated body wanted to be pushed. You have no idea what it's like to be deprived of daily life activities for sixteen months. Human beings are wonderfully adaptive: the realization waited to dawn retrospectively later in 2012.
