I'll improve on that with wholemeal bread. Paprika? Interesting.

    Beat me to it.

Or perhaps hand-sliced turkey (off the bird), with gouda and avocado slices with mayo on whole wheat bread. No seasoning. Au naturel.

Sorry Suzi ... that sounds disgusting!

I must admit I'm perplexed by such concoctions.
Taking delicious ingredients and combining them is not an improvement.
And mayo should be used appropriately NOT ON EVERYTHING!

Turkey & cranberry (or Branston's Pickle).
Gouda with fresh ripe tomatoes. (perhaps a few spring onions)
Avocado and baby spinach with smoked salmon or well seasoned prawns and lemon juice.

If you only have such narrow preferences, you'll never experience anything new but you're the one missing out.

Not always with Paprika, I would say it’s an option.

Wholemeal is better for you of course but I prefer thick soft white with a sandwich.

Egg sandwiches are a perfect hangover cure, of sorts. I find the inclusion of bacon can cause complications with bite extraction especially if the egg is slightly runny.

Fried egg on a toasted croissant with butter (sausage or thin sliced ham optional) is nice for breakfast.

Paprika is classic on tuna salad.

I use tuna, mayo, dill relish and bits of celery (not huge pieces, chopped is adequate), although I've also heard of some people substituting chopped walnuts for the celery, for more crunch. Paprika on top as garnish if presented in a bowl or a scoop rather than on bread, or even toast. More for color than taste, usually.

You may have been living out of the UK for too long; Marmite works on toast, Marmite sandwich is just a bit odd.

    Edit: not judging!
