My mother’s devil’s food cake. I don’t know the exact recipe, but it had extra cocoa powder and was served warm with runny chocolate frosting poured over it.

But best cake is Carrot Cake with the icing scrapped off.

Not technically cake, but I'm a sucker for fresh Tiramisu.

Cream cheese frosting on carrot cake is to die for.
