@fmf saidAlthough not a "BIG" Beatles fan (I was/am a Stones fan) my fav was the White Album. I know....who cares. 😉
My favourite Beatles album.
@great-big-stees saidI was never a big beatles fan either, but they were big here in Canada for sure! Maybe among one of the best bands of all time.

@very-rusty saidIn 1964 my then girlfriend was a big Beatles fan so I got tickets for their Sept 16th concert at Montreal's Forum. There was so much screaming you couldn't hear the music. She loved it anyway, I was less enthusiastic. 🙂

@great-big-stees saidPersonally I didn't see what all the fuss was about. I must say they did sell out everywhere they went. I think the women were bigger fans than the men over here.

@great-big-stees saidAbbey Road is almost too perfect a bookend for the greatest studio recording band in history.

@very-rusty saidHow strange; must have been a Canadian thing.

@divegeester saidI really have no idea but the sell outs would mainly be women and young teenage girls, the few men were drug there by their wives or girlfriends. At least that is the way it was in my part of Canada, doesn't make it a 'Canadian thing'!
