Eyebrows were raised earlier this week when the Trump campaign offered a baseball for sale on the website TrumpStore.com selling a baseball for $88 dollars.

Expensive, right? Curious too, as the number "88" is a well-known neo-Nazi dogwhistle:

Could just be a coincidence...
Here is a statement from the DHS:

"Out of 88 claims... fewer than 13...?" Who uses the number "88" for such a statistical measure?

Exactly 1488 children? Eerie coincidence again...

We have to face an awkward reality: neo-Nazism is, if not outright celebrated, condoned and accepted in the Republican Party. The problem is far worse than a president defending white supremacists, they have deeply infiltrated the upper ranks of the U.S. government and its most powerful political party.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fourteen_Words
Fourteen Words, 14, or 14/88, is a reference to the fourteen-word slogan "We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children",[1] or the less commonly used "Because the beauty of the White Aryan woman must not perish from the earth."[2] The slogans were originally coined by white supremacist David Lane,[3] a founding member of terrorist organization The Order[4] and serve as a rallying cry for militant white nationalists across the globe.[5] "88" is a veiled reference to "Heil Hitler", as 'H' is the 8th letter of the alphabet.[6]

Here is a statement from the DHS:
The increase in claims filed is not associated with an increase in meritorious claims. As of FY 17, the asylum grant rate for defensive applications in immigration court is approximately 30%. On average, out of 88 claims that pass the credible fear screening, fewer than 13 will ultimately result in a grant of asylum.

On June 17, the campaign ran 88 ads on the Facebook pages for Trump, Pence, and Team Trump with an inverted red triangle. The red triangle was used for political prisoners in Nazi concentration camps.

Twice in less than a year, the federal government has lost track of nearly 1,500 migrant children after placing them in the homes of sponsors across the country, federal officials have acknowledged.
The Health and Human Services Department recently told Senate staffers that case managers could not find 1,488 children after they made follow-up calls to check on their safety from April through June. That number represents about 13 percent of all unaccompanied children the administration moved out of shelters and foster homes during that time.
