Well, according to your article, some of these international observers are on a fake list.
And some of their quotes didn’t seem very objective.

99% of the population in 1 region voted to be part of Russia.
That is the true signal that something’s not right.

And the images of armed soldiers guiding people to place their votes in a see-through container doesn’t help e ...[text shortened]... he US or returns to Italy’s control (because of Maffia connections and lots of people eating pizza).
"99% of the population in 1 region voted to be part of Russia."

I don't believe that. Now sonhouse is parroting your misinformation.

"Luhansk authorities said 98.4 percent of people there had voted to join Russia. In Zaporizhia, a Russian-appointed official put the figure at 93.1 percent. In Kherson, the head of the voting committee said the “yes” vote was above 87 percent.

Denis Pushilin, head of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic, said 99.2 percent of participan ...[text shortened]... ur areas, officials said all the ballots had been counted."

Sure, it could happen. In a pigs ASS.

Why would Russia falsely claim such a high percentage when all they needed was a majority? Do they want people to think they are holding sham elections? Are there any pre referendum polls?

Yes he always does it this way he’s retardly egotistical enough to rub the victims face in his obvious lies, rather than being smart or strategic about it.
The other option is that he wants the sham to be so obvious that he won’t lose so much face when he has to rescind the annexations.

Which is why Russia would not try to convince people of something so unbelievable.
It defeats the whole purpose of the referendum. Maybe the people just voted for security and stability. That would be completely understandable.

The Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics declared their independence from the government in Kiev in 2014. Pro-Russian separatists in the Donbass have been embroiled in a bloody trench battle with the US-backed government in Kiev since 2014. It is not surprising the people in Donetsk and Lugansk are sick of the US-backed government in Kiev.

It is believable. The Ukrainian Nazis burned people alive. People tend to frown upon that.

What are you going to do when your boss Putin dies of cancer? He is VERY sick right now and might launch a nuke into Ukraine just for grins.
Will he still be your beloved boss if he does that?

Our government occupies 1/3 of the oil rich part of Syria. How is that any different than what Russia is doing in Ukraine?

It's not. The US is being hypocritical. But two wrongs don't make a right. I don't care the US doesn't have the moral high ground to stand against Russia's invasion.

And just as a side note, the US didn't commit nearly as many attrocities in 20 years and several wars as Russia did in one year.

And is doing as we speak in Ukraine, bombing MATERNITY hospitals? Or the missile attack on a civilian train station or the orders to rape and pillage and we know of at least one case where the barbarians raped a 1 year old boy to death.
I would LOVE see reports saying the same about the US.
No doubt they will bring up Viet Nam, which everyone knows we should not have been there.
