Right-wingers are pushing that drug to be used against covid.
All drugs are, to a degree, poison, and you should always only take drugs and medicines for that which they’re supposed to be used. And covid ain’t on that list.

How the F are you supposed to determine the dose of aspirin you need, if you’re taking it because you’ve got bad eyesight?
The same here: this drug doesn’t help against Covid, so there is no known amount you need to take.

And people self-medicating is hardly ever a good thing.

Is Merck's new COVID-19 drug molnupiravir any better than ivermectin? Merck makes both drugs, but only one is under patent protection so Merck can rake in the money from selling it at a high price.
