I’m sure we will refrain from doing any gain of function research on them 🤞🤞and we sure won’t be eating them so “Stay calm and carry on”.

Just going by the word the first batch came from bats that were harvested for food getting into human contact and now another bunch of bats with some variant.

Yeah sounds potentially very scary, more transmissible than Delta and it may circumvent current vaccines.

Yep, I guess the little buggers are some kind of delicacy in that part of China anyway. I think snakes were involved also.
