Where is the motive for the Russian government to do that? It is absurd!
What exactly was she lying about? The Russians did have "dirt" on HRC.

That would contradict your claim Putin has a bromance with Trump. Make up your mind. Still no motive to send a woman to lie and waste Donny's time just because they thought they could get away with.....what again? Oh that's right, lie and waste his time. Why would they want to get away with that? STILL NO MOTIVE!

That is a neat conspiracy theory. Welcome to the tinfoil hat wearing club....lol!

"Now that the public did find out, it is part of the largest political crisis in the U.S. since the Second World War "

Not even close to being true. Iran/contra was the mother load of proven conspiracies since WW2. Russiagate doesn't even come close and it is still a theory, not a proven conspiracy like Iran/Contra.

However, the former intelligence officer, Rinat Akhmetshin, offered a different version of events, describing how Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya handed a plastic folder to the Trump team after the group had gathered in a room in Trump Tower in Manhattan.

The documents inside apparently detailed what the lawyer believed to be an illicit flow of funds to the Democratic National Committee.

"This could be a good issue to expose how the DNC is accepting bad money,' Akhmetshin recalled her saying," according to the Associated Press report.

Apparently it wasn't all Trump Jr. wanted, but that hardly changes the fact that he received such information and has repeatedly lied about it.

Those are, of course, the same allegations that Putin brought forth in the infamous Helsinki press conference:

During the presidential campaign, a Kremlin-linked lawyer tried to interest the Trump campaign in allegations against Mr. Browder during a June 2016 meeting at Trump Tower in New York with members of the Trump campaign, who had been promised damaging information about the Clinton campaign. That meeting has become a focus of Mr. Mueller’s investigation.

Mr. Putin on Monday detailed on television a variation of some of the allegations that the lawyer, Natalia V. Veselnitskaya, brought to the Trump Tower meeting — namely that some of Mr. Browder’s associates had funneled $400 million to the Clinton campaign with money illegally moved out of Russia.

“Business associates of his have earned over $1.5 billion in Russia,” Mr. Putin said. “They never paid any taxes. Neither in Russia nor in the United States. Yet the money escaped the country. They were transferred to the United States. They sent huge amounts of money, $400 million, as a contribution to the campaign of Hillary Clinton.”

Additionally, Mr. Putin declared, “we have solid reason to believe that some intelligence officers accompanied and guided these transactions.”

Rinat Akhmetshin is an ex Russian spy who defected the the USA. He even has ties with Russian oligarch Irakly Kaveladze, who has been accused by congressional investigators of a scheme to launder $1.4 billion of Russian and Eastern European money through U.S. banks.

    He has a credibility problem.

A litte bird told me Trump picks his nose when he thinks no one is looking.

I believe it and so should you, although right now it's just a rumor and as yet I haven't as yet been able to obtain confirmation of...this true rumor.

Understanding little bird tweets is nearly impossible when they're all twittering at the same time.

But they didn't discuss specific dirt unless you have proof of a dirt discussion. What was the dirt?

No you didn't. You said a folder was given (according to a Russian spy that defected here) but no specific information that can be verified. He could have made it up.

If you cannot show an illicit flow of funds to the Democratic National Committee then the information was worthless if it even existed. Here you are calling it valuable information but cannot even show it was used.
Either it was worthless info or (more likely) it never existed in the first place. Rinat Akhmetshin is a traitor to the Russians. You can't believe anything bad he had to say about Russia. He will always be considered a traitor there.
