@vivifysaid Did any conservatives watch the videos in the OP? They're from a conservative comic.
You are saying that there are conservative comics, yes. You see, you are highlighting, pointing out, conservatives (comics).
I, though, am writing about liberals who like comedy, they like comics. It makes no difference, a comic's political persuasion, it's just about the ever-lovin' jokes!
Ahhh, you see the difference in the posts.
@averagejoe1said You are saying that there are conservative comics, yes. You see, you are highlighting, pointing out, conservatives (comics).
Just to be clear, the conservative comic I posted made a video I thought was pretty good. I was not mocking that comic. He's an example of how political humor should be done.
@vitamin-pk4said Humor is relative.
So saying one form isn't funny is a moot point.
The people trying to ruin comedy are the liberals who worry about people's hurt feelings too much.
The issue is not whether or not conservative comedy suits our tastes, the problem is that much of what conservative comedians do isn't even comedy. The point is not to make people laugh it's to trigger the libs.
If conservative comedy was merely not unfunny I wouldn't have started this thread; but they're unfunny because the goal isn't comedy, it's propaganda.
The OP includes videos from a conservative comedian who actually seems to understand humor.
Liberal comedians do the same thing.
Stop being biased. If you don't like it, don't watch it.
I don't complain about lesbian man hating comedians which are definitely the least humourous of them all. I just don't watch it. Problem solved.
@vitamin-pk4said Liberal comedians do the same thing.
False. Liberal comedians tend to attack specific politicians for specific reasons; conservatives attack liberals for no other reason than to express how much they hate liberals.
Look at Stephen Colbert discusses politics vs. Tucker Carlsen. Colbert will address specific statements and actions of a politician and why it's wrong while Carlsen will attack the entire opposite political spectrum for vague reasons. The difference is the approach to political discourse; one is to attack an entire spectrum of people (Tucker) and the other is hold politicians accountable (Colbert).
While Tucker is not a comedian, conservatives comics have the same exact problem and approach because their goal is propaganda not social commentary.
