In the last ten days...Trump’s unbelievable jobs report. And unemployment report, best in 50 years.
Got Pelosi to close Mex/Can deal.
China deal is underway. He makes deals.
    Stock market breaking records.

And, what fixes do the dems have in store for something which is not ‘broke’? Haven’t seen their to-do list.🤓

Many of those working people are still much worse off than unemployed people in some wealthy countries.

Maybe Trump should do something about that?

I don't notice your charming American Democrats doing anything about providing shelter to the many homeless people.

    Care to address that?

    Fix democracy.
The other stuff will take care of itself.
After all, the Obama administration did fix the economic engine, correct ?

    Other things on to-do list...
Trump needs to climb out of Putin’s pocket.
Trump needs to repair his international image:
    - other world leaders laughing him behind his back at important international meetings.
    - fix the bad optics of his relationships with despots. Kim Jung Un, Putin and others are doing circles around him.
    - stop being embarrassed on Twitter by 16 year old girls from Sweden.
    - stop coming up with dumb ideas like buying Greenland. Not everything on the global ego-political landscape is about deal making. Life is more complicated than that.

And remember, Nixon was doing a good job as president.
But he stepped over the line.
    As has Trump.
If it takes politics to resolve this, so be it.

    More right wing lies.

All of the current financial success can be traced back to Obama's fabulous stimulus package and cash for clunkers program, success that was delayed until Trump took office.

Stop listening to the fake news!!

Don't forget the clean needles program.

They may not be given shelter or money to live on, but clean needles are what really helps these people, that and along with sterilization/abortions.

Remember, the less of them there are the less of a problem we will have.

It probably wasn't on Breibart but:

"Meanwhile, California has committed $1 billion of state funding, and Los Angeles voters approved two $2 billion bonds to address homelessness."

    https://nationalhomeless.org/statement-rejecting-trump-administration-efforts-to-criminalize-homelessness/

    Meanwhile:

"Yet, the president’s FY2020 budget proposal slashes funding for HUD by more than 16 percent, including a $4.6 billion cut to the public housing operating and capital funds, making it harder for PHAs to address the housing needs of low-income people and those vulnerable to homelessness."

Fix Democracy? Are you aware, the word Democracy is not mentioned in the Constitution?

Then you haul off about how you think Trump should be. Maybe Trump did the silly Greenland thing to shine, in his own way. Oh, but you dont agree with that. That darn Trump loser, silly guy, and why is he that way with Putin, And He should worried about ‘what people think!!! Oh please. And try as you may, you havent quite made your loyal readers ignore the first paragraph of this thread, Trump’s great accomplishments!!!! Pitiful. Rather, socialists as yourself want, what, Trump make us all equal? Hey, who would weld the fittings on the yacht i want to buy? Msybe you are the guy to tell us what the equality goal is all about. Whew.

I was well aware what Calif/Los Angeles have done. And if you read further into their $billion dollar effort, it is failing.

But I am being specific about the House of Reps in Washington, not LA, not Calif.

The rest about cutting HUD, Trump may have signed off on it, not without approval of the House. It's their bill.

Do you know why HUD was cut...? because there are fewer people on welfare now. Care to guess why...? TRUMP'S economic policies. But you do excel in how to lie with statistics. Good job!

Anyway, the House of Reps is not providing shelter to the many hundreds of thousands of homeless across America. Nothing pending, unless you are an illegal alien and then they give you the world!

A House Committee passed the Ending Homelessness Act back in April. https://www.housingwire.com/articles/48683-house-committee-passes-bill-to-end-homelessness/

Predictably, every Republican on the Committee voted against it.

It has not come out of committee yet so still nothing.
    ------------------------

But the committee’s Republicans weren’t quite on board with the passage of the act.
“There’s not one person on this committee that doesn’t want to end homelessness, but authorizing $13 billion in mandatory spending over five years actually won’t end homelessness,” Ranking Member Patrick McHenry, R-N.C., said. “It feeds a broken system that will not yield results.”

    -----------

    two sides to every coin.

BTW, the Los Angeles attempt failed, $1 billion.
the reason was that the cost came out to be $675,000 per unit.

Smell some graft there? "Look for the Union label..."

(Shrug) Republicans always have an excuse for doing nothing to address the problems the nation has.

Trying to get public needs accomplished by using private, for profit companies is usually a fool's errand. Unsurprisingly, costs for building the LA units have soared because:

"The high level of soft costs indicates that developers are spending large amounts on non-construction activities such as fees, consultants, and financing costs."

Do you think it might be POSSIBLE that they had a reason? Maybe there was not enough money???? Do you think that that should not be a reason? Of course, you do, because spending is not problem to you. Man, I just HATE spending money I dont have myself. Thus the distinction between libs and Cons.
