Now that Republican Congressman and Trump endorser Chris Collins has plead guilty to charges related to securities fraud conspiracy and making false statements, we're up to 14 and counting-

Collins is just the latest in a series of close allies and associates to President Trump to face the stain of a criminal record. In all, 14 Trump aides, donors and advisers have been indicted or imprisoned since the days when the first-time candidate promised that he would only hire "the best people."

The count includes senior members of Trump’s campaign staff, including former campaign chair Paul Manafort and his deputy, Rick Gates – both snared on financial misdeeds in special counsel Robert Mueller investigation. Trump’s first national security adviser – Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn – pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI – though he has recently moved to retract his plea. His personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, is under criminal investigation for his business relationship with two men arrested in an alleged campaign finance scheme.

No President - Democrat or Republican, has told this many lies about his contacts with convicted felons, Russian mobsters, playmates, pornstars, has hired a small army of lawyers simply to keep his tax returns and financial records from becoming public knowledge, threatened his college with lawsuits if they disclose his grade transcripts, pled guilty to 2 counts of fraud, has 2 of his personal attorneys under criminal investigation (Cohen and Giuliani) Made national security decisions based on the advice of a National Security advisor, (Mike Flynn) now guilty of lying to the F.B. I., with years of business ties to Russian mobsters, Made Campaign decisions based on the advise of convicted criminals Paul Manafort and Rick Gates. Get the picture????

Be honest with yourself Joe. If all this were true of a President named Clinton or Obama, would you be looking past all this, and sniveling about the Bidens?

Not an explanation of Trump being ‘involved’ in misdeeds. If I recommend a man to join my board at a corporation, who has a stellar CV, but has problems or character no one could know about, would I be involved in his malfeasance as an officer of the board?? Whew..
