Anyone out there do home studio recording? I just got Presonus Studio one professional, full price 400 bucks, found it on Sweetwater for 300 so got it there.
I use a Tascam 16-08 I/O and a Dell laptop 4 core, 8 Gig ram, 1 TB HD. I also have audacity, wavelab, and Izotope Ozone 9 stand alone and it works as a plugin on Studio one also.
Have plugins from Waves also, when studio one loads it imports 142 plugins!
Just got the rig put together yesterday, used to use Cakewalk Sonar but they went belly up and now have been bought out by a client in Singapore, not sure of support so went with Presonus, don't think they will be going out of business any time soon since they have a wide variety of products.
Will be hooking up mics and keyboards to this mix soon and try recording, see how it goes, using 48 Khz sample rate and 24 bit depth and 32 bit precision.
Anyone have experience with Presonus products?
