    Have you explored some of Vaughan Williams' other work, e.g., The Lark Ascending or his nine symphonies? One of my favorite VW pieces is Norfolk Rhapsody No. 1.

    Listened to The Lark Ascending many times and it’s beautiful as well (though I consider Fantasia on a whole other level of beauty) and I’ll definitely check out his other works.

    Would you know of any composers comparable to him?

    Vaughan Williams was in a class by himself. His 4th, 5th and 6th symphonies are worth a listen.-
