Judo is my other passion and so my profile photo is actually a picture of Dr. Jigoro Kano, the founder of Judo. There are many similarities between a judo match and a chess game. In both, you face a single opponent on a level field with only your own personal resources at your command. The contest, ultimately, teaches you more about yourself than it does about your adversary.
Tournament Entry Rating is calculated by the formula (CurrentRating + HighestRating) / 2. The entry rating will never drop to more than 100 points below your Highest Rating.
