Xantius Polothiataties
\nThe Hecatoncheires were three siblings who were born from the Titans Uranus and Gaia. These three were named Briareus or Aegaeon (the vigorous or the sea goat), Cottus (the striker or the furious) and Gyges (the big-limbed).
\n
\nAfter being born, Uranus realized they were too powerful, and so he threw them back into Gaea's womb, which infuriated her. As such she began plotting to overthrow her husband, and assisted Cronus come into power - though he betrayed her and put Gaia into Tartarus. In some versions, Uranus throws the hecatoncheires into Tartarus instead of inside Gaia initially, but either way these giants end up in the prison.
\n
\nWhen Zeus was trying to usurp Cronus, Gaia taught Zeus how to free the Hecatoncheires and the Cyclops, who then helped Zeus during the Titanomachy.
\n
\nAfter the war, Zeus locked up the Titans in Tartarus, and put the Hecatoncheires as the guards.

\nThey were giant creatures known for their hundred hands of unfathomable strength, and their amalgamation of fifty heads.
