@averagejoe1said Because Trump is being improperly accused. Have you seen the news on it? Bragg has no jurisdiction with regard to a Federal law, and the misdemeanor's Statute of Limitations has run.
It was refreshing to see a normal question from the sonhouse. Thumb up from AJoe.

You depend on your news source for legal advice? OMG- - π
@averagejoe1said Probably any comparison, such as yours here, about interest in attending rallies and supporting Trump, are negatively impacted by the state of Biden economy, illegal immigrants, huge plundering of the treasury, watching Biden dictate to spend about 25,000 per person on tuition loans, when we all stand around with our mouth open, getting nothing. ….such as that. We are all suffering, there is not a lot of room for a free time to show support
That's right Joe - Just keep telling yourself that. π
In the past, Trump has always been able to count on his supporters turning out en masse, from his signature rallies to the riot at the Capitol. But on Monday, at a pivotal moment for the MAGA movement and Trump’s campaign, the faithful were uncharacteristically quiet - and few in number.
Even among supporters so loyal they were drawn to an event publicized as a “rally for President Trump” organized by the New York Young Republican Club, the endless litany of Trump’s legal proceedings seemed to be wearing on them. More than two hours after the rally was scheduled to begin, demonstrators were still heavily outnumbered by hundreds of members of the news media, including from as far away as Germany.
Today crowds at Trump rallies are smaller and quieter, fundraising numbers now run far behind that of the Democrats, the ranks of "never Trump" Republicans are growing, and Trump's once solid lead in the polls has vanished. Weighed down by legal and fundraising woes, Trump and a fractured Republican party will need a big injection of new energy and money to defeat a more cohesive and better financed Democratic party if they expect to win in November.
@averagejoe1said You are the last person who could grasp the gambits of Trump. Note that he goes UP in popularity every time he is in the news for these travesties…., then note that he just miiiiiiiiiigghht have reasons for what he does.
then note that he just miiiiiiiiiigghht have reasons for what he does.
OK, please enlighten me (since you clearly know more than the rest of the people here) what are the reasons Trump might have to want to attack a judge who is presiding over this NY trial?
@suziannesaid Quora is being completely disingenuous with that question.
Getting an education does NOT tend to turn people into conservatives. If anything, it tends to turn them into liberals by virtue of the fact that it gives them a wider view of the world beyond themselves. They become far less focused on themselves and they start to appreciate value in people and institutions outside the narrow, narcissistic focus they've had their entire lives up to that point.

The right wing's war on higher education in America is failing because of this. No matter if you're an aspiring entrepreneur, blockchain coder, daycare operator, or Yoga teacher, these sites have the information you need.
@congruentsaid Alireza's father Hamidreza was reportedly escorted out of the playing arena at the Great Hall during Round 10, as per reports from Toronto, where the 2024 Candidates is being held.
Alireza claimed he was warned by the chief arbiter at the Candidates 2024 chess tournament for his shoes making too much noise during games, FIDE’s Technical delegate for the Candidates chess tournament has alleged that Alireza’s father threatened to call the police if he was not allowed to watch games of his son from the balcony of the playing hall whenever he wanted to.
Noisy shoes and balcony dads. I guess it wouldn't be the candidates matches without a few mini-drama's. π
Alireza now sits at 7th in a field of 8, so maybe this will be just a footnote when the bottom half is eliminated.
Does he not realize judges have at least some judicial discretion when presiding over these trials that can have an impact on the verdict? Does he not realize judges decide prison sentences for those found guilty?
We need look no further than Aileen Cannon to see what a friendly judge can do for you, but Trump is turning this NY judge against him with his repeated attacks. I don't understand this.

@averagejoe1said I am NOT being funny.....is not Biden being a dictator when he views our country being ruled by people instead of laws? YOu know, the tuition thingy, for example? I'm thinking I am obliged to do a thread shortly to enlighten you little fellers about Congress, the purse string thingy.
YOu know, the tuition thingy, for example?
I think college education should be free to anyone who wants it. If 35 other countries can do this, then so can the (so called) greatest country in the world. God bless "the tuition thingy" may it grow and prosper. π
Well - Let's take him out and shoot him! Instead let's elect a convicted fraudster and sexual abuser who fathered 5 kids by 3 different women. I can only wonder what the fine folks at FOX news would be saying if someone names Obama, Clinton, or Biden had done this.
[quote]US President Joe Biden says he expects Iran to attack Israel "sooner than later", as fears grow of Iranian retaliation over an air strike that killed top commanders early this month.
Israel has not admitted attacking an Iranian consulate in Syria but is widely believed to have been behind it.
