You are wasted here; your knowledge and skills would be best employed in advising the global scientific community.
    No, he's just wasted.

Soothfast...It would indeed certainly be more fair. You libs like fair. Right now, only people in college get this free money to do with as they will.
Sounds like you'd be in favor of some new federal programs to help other classes of folks out. Great. What do you have in mind?

As accessible as Hazlitt tried to make his economics alas it is still over kevs head. :^/
You can't explain the complex phenomena of the world with fortune cookie quotes and single-paragraph children's parables. Of course, you'd need a hardware upgrade under that welder's mask to understand this.

Does it matter who the facts come from?
If it is false information prove it. Can't you do that?
Of course not. That is why people resort to attacking the source. It is a desperate attempt to marginalize facts that are indisputable.

Fact: The Russiagate investigation was started by a rumor.
Fact: The Russiagate investigation was continued by fabricating evidence be ...[text shortened]... nce-application-n1256179

Fabricating evidence happens when evidence does not exist. Common sense.
Do you not recognize the irony of hijacking your own thread to go after me with conspiratorial rubbish having no place in the science forum, after I said you have no place in a science forum? 😉

Are you calling Ben Bernanke a conspiracy theorist?

Are you claiming it matters who you give the money to if your only goal is to stimulate the economy? It may be better to give the money to poor people instead of wealthy people, but the 1.9 trillion stimulus package went mostly to wealthy people. 90%

You don't know much about economics, do you?
    I didn't look at your link. I just think you're a joke.

You believed the conspiracy theory that Trump colluded with the Russian government. You are a liar for denying that.
You know, there is just no need to respond to this. It speaks for itself. One thing I never do on this forum is lie about what I believe.

So fuck you for your accusation, kiddo.

So you don't like the rules because your side lost?
Hillary Clinton knew the rules and how to play by them. It is not as if she woke up one day and was told the popular vote isn't how you win an election. If you had your way nobody would campaign in Wyoming and the people there would question why they should vote at all.
I see you're moving on after your psychoanalysis whiffed.

For one who is perennially protesting that the system is rotten, you sure spend an awful lot of time defending its most anachronistic features.

To win the 2016 election? No, I don't believe that. Maybe Trump would have liked to collude. Maybe he tried and failed. In the end the 2016 election was not compromised to any degree that could affect the outcome. Or so I believe. It's the Electoral College that screwed over the country in the worst way possible.

You think Trump stole the 2016 election from Hillary Clinton because you believed the conspiracy theory she put forth. Russiagate. You believed the conspiracy theory that Trump colluded with the Russian government.
    Huh?

    Not even.

When have I ever said such a thing? I'll give you a hint: never.

The great tragedy of the 2016 election was the Electoral College, but that's not a conspiracy.

You are fucking losing the plot.

The majority of voter fraud cases are the fraudulent use of absentee ballots.

Do you know what I mean by the denominator?

    Stop lying.

The reason I won the bet is because I found a website with all cases of voter fraud. The number is in the hundreds. Still a small percentage relatively speaking, but much more than sonhouse claimed.

    Care to make another bet?
"Hundreds" in the numerator. Care to figure out the denominator?

You are a conspiracy theorist projecting it onto others because you are ashamed that you are a conspiracy theorist. You are an election denier and you know it.
I can tell you that you're an even worse psychoanalyst than you are a logician, and that's saying something.

How am I an election denier, exactly?

Why not drop money out of helicopters then. Same result.
You just think student loans are a preferable charity, that is all.

Why not forgive people's medical bills? That would put money back into the economy.
You really think dropping cash out of helicopters will achieve the same results as the student loan forgiveness program? Do you have an 8-bit brain or something? Because that is remarkably unnuanced thinking.

But yeah, I get it, you're trolling for attention. You can get that just waving your willy at the bus station, so get going.

Travel. They said travel. Sorry, man, what a stupid I am. Oh, and it said 'and dining' you must have not read it. Logically, then, they would not use it all on travel, would they?
Hey, does Joe they would use some of the money for tattoos? Downer. Taxpayer money to pay for their tattoos. You libs absolutely do not get this thread.
You have lost this thread. Try changing over to Jan 6.
I'm 100% on topic. The loan forgiveness program was projected to put money back into the economy in any number of ways, including wining, dining, and traveling. Why can't you wrap even one brain cell around this very basic idea?

The Fox article in your OP is actually screaming that the program is working as intended. You are too dense to see this, being blinded by your rage and prejudices.
