This will get pushed back eventually so I might as well do it now. Plus I need black to castle for my trap.

? The trap is h6xg5; h4xg5 Nf6e8; Qd1h5 and there is no defence for the mate threat. Even if f7f6 response is g5g6. Or a black Queen sacrifice only delays the mate.

Bait not taken. The f6 Knight can escape to g4 so the trap has been nullified. Don't I look like a fool? :)

I am now seriously regretting the attempted trap.

My King isn't in a good position, and I have fallen behind in development. Thinking of a pawn storm....
